Monsters Are Immortal
The second labor of Heracles (Hercules) involved the destruction of the Lernaean Hydra, a monstrous serpent with multiple heads and poisonous breath. The beast lived in the swamps of Lerna, guarding an entrance to the Underworld.
The struggle was grueling: every time Heracles decapitated one head, two more grew back in its place. The hero realized that brute force alone was insufficient. With the help of his nephew Iolaus, they changed strategy. As Heracles cut off a head, Iolaus used a torch to cauterize the stump, preventing regrowth. Finally, Heracles severed the one immortal head and buried it deep under a heavy rock.
The Archetype: The Hydra represents a "multi-dimensional crisis" or the chaotic nature of the unconscious. It teaches us that some problems cannot be solved by aggression alone; they require innovation (fire/light) and a systemic approach.

ჰერაკლეს მეორე გმირობა ლერნეს ჰიდრას განადგურება იყო. მონსტრი, რომლის სუნთქვაც კი მომაკვდინებელია. ურჩხული ლერნეს ჭაობებში ბინადრობდა და ქვესკნელის შესასვლელს იცავდა.
